PKE 4000 I Series - EriPower™ 25-40 Watt DC/DC power modules • Efficiency 83-85% • MTBF > 2,000,000 hours at +75 °C case temperature • Single, dual and triple outputs • No derating within –45 °C to +85 °C ambient temperature • 1,500 V dc isolation voltage • 10.7 mm (0.42") height allows 0.8" board spacing • Complete - no extra filters or heatsinks required 76.0 x 76.0 x 10.7 mm (2.99 x 2.99 x 0.42 inch) The 25-40 watts PKE 4000 series DC/DC power modules are designed for decentralized 48/60 V dc (36-75 V dc) power distribution systems with distributed on-board DC/DC converters in applications with high temperature and isolation requirements. Their low profile allows narrow board pitch and slim designs. By using thick film technology, which provides a high degree of integration as well as efficient thermal management, and by utilizing 300 kHz switching frequency based on proprietary drive and control chips, the highly reliable products conform to the most stringent telecom and data com requirements in harsh environments applications. Mechanical ruggedness, in conformance with IEC 68-2, is close to the requirements for discrete components. The converters can operate in free convention with full output power at ambient temperatures from – 45 to +85 °C, making the products ideal for the most demanding temperature requirements in both indoor and outdoor applications.
