Embedded CompactFlash equipped with a controller
and flash memory chip made in Japan.
CompactFlash (CF) cards can be used similar to
Hard Disk Drives (HDDs) via an IDE ⇔ CompactFlash connector because CF cards support ATA
(IDE) standards for HDDs. However, when a CF
card is used in IDE Mode, there are some
problems with compatibility such as compatibility
with the host BIOS and chipset, and with master/
slave detection. TDK provides industrial-use and
embedded CompactFlash devices with excellent
reliability and compatibility that are equipped with
our own memory controller and flash memory
chips made in Japan. TDK has provided such
