PRODUCT OVERVIEW
The MDX-19-6-1 optical transceivers are high performance
integrated duplex data links for bi-directional
communication over multimode optical fiber. The MDX-196-1 module is specifically designed to be used in
multimode Fibre Channel applications. At a height of 9.8
mm the MDX-19-6 fits mezzanine card applications. This
industry standard 1x9 package with SC duplex fiber optic
connector and wave-solderable attaching posts is
available in several wavelengths and data rates. The MDX19-6-1-T optical transceiver with TTL Signal Detect output
eliminates the need for a PECL to TTL level shifter in
many applications. This results in reduced supply current,
component count, and board space.

processes has resulted in a low cost, high performance
product available in various data transfer rates up to
1.0625 GBaud.

LONG WAVELENGTH LASER
The MDX-19-6-2 is provided with single mode optics. The
1300 nm laser provides highly reliable single mode
